Do you know what a Favicon is?

I didn't know until today that a favicon is that little logo beside some website addresses in my address bar. I decided I wanted one.

Believe it or not, it is very easy to do. I found this website, http://www.chami.com/html-kit/services/favicon/ and all you have to do is upload a graphic and it will make the favicon for you. It then gives you the one line of script you will need to insert into your website html file.

It is a great visual aid for people who have a lot of sites in their favourites, which is where the "fav" in favicon comes from.

One Year of Virtual Assistant Success - Press Release

Darrell Williams started his virtual assistant practice so that he could offer his expertise and still be able to remain at home to homeschool his 2 daughters.

The past year has brought with it a lot of success in the virtual world. Williams has been awarded VANetworking's "VAccolade Business Entrepreneur Award" and "Blog of the Week Award". He has also written 2 successful e-books on responding to and writing virtual assistant RFPs and another e-book on article marketing. He has served clients from all over North America and has gone from a solo practice to having a team of Associate VAs to assist him when the need arises.

The services Williams' practice offers have changed a bit over the year. He started offering basic administrative services, but has found his clients were looking for others, such as travel agent services and creative services. Williams believes that constantly updating his service list to meet the needs of his client base is one of the keys to his success.

Williams says, "Becoming a virtual assistant was the perfect fit for me. It allowed me to homeschool my girls and utilize the skills I have acquired in the non-virtual workplace and college. It has been a great year with a lot of learning along the way. I am so happy that I chose virtual assistance and look forward to serving even more clients over the next year."

In celebration of this milestone, Williams is offering 1 free hour, of virtual assistant services, with every 5 paid hours. To learn more about Right-Hand-Man Virtual Assistant Services and the "Anniversary Sale" go to www.righthandmanva.com.
